Documentation of a Heritage Building: Kutub Shah Mosque, Kishoreganj
Kishoreganj is the second largest district of Dhaka division. This district has glorious history and heritage. This history of this district is thousands of years old. According to historians, believe that Nandakishore, son of Krishnadas Pramanik, a resident of Batrish in the sixteenth century, established a “Ganj” (Market Palace) on the banks of the Brahmaputra river, from which the Ganj of Nandakishore or Kishoreganj originates. The district is known as the cultural capital of the sixteenth century.
