Built in Sectors 01 and 05 of Purbachal New Town, RAJUK Kacha Bajar reinterprets the social and spatial characteristics of Bangladesh’s traditional haat bazaars in a contemporary urban setting. Built on a 1.25-acre site, the two-story market was completed in 2025. The project was conceived not merely as a commercial space, but as an active social hub where everyday shopping, interaction, and social exchange take place within a shared environment.
