The ‘Integrated Development of Hatirjheel Area and Begunbari Khal’ project, designed by architectural consultant ‘VITTI Sthapati Brindo Limited’, has been selected for the 2025 Asian Townscape Award. This international award selects and rewards projects that enrich urban life in different countries around the world.

The award, jointly organized with UN-Habitat ROAP (Fukuoka) and its partners, recognizes exemplary initiatives to balance the environment, functionality, culture and aesthetics across Asia.

The transformation of Hatirjheel stands as a milestone in Dhaka's sustainable urban development, earning global acclaim for improving the city's quality of life.
