The Council Meeting of ‘ARCHITECTS Regional Council Asia’ (ARCASIA) was held on 15-16 January 2025 at "THE BMICH, COLOMBO" in Colombo, Sri Lanka. BASTAI was represented in the Council Meeting by BASTAI's Vice President (International Relations), Architect K. M. Mahfuzul Haque Jaglul and General Secretary, Architect Dr. Masud Ur Rashid. At the same time, BASTAI's former President, Architect Kazi Golam Nasir and BASTAI's Secretary (Publication and Publicity), Architect Shafiul Azam Shamim participated as observers. In addition, BASTAI President Architect Abu Said M Ahmed participated as the former ARCASIA President. The Council Meeting was also attended by the Chairperson of ArcAsia Social Responsibility Committee, Architect Farhana Sharmin Emu. Representatives from 22 ARCASIA member countries participated in the two-day council meeting. In addition, Maldives and Cambodia participated as new members. |
