On 18.04.25, a workshop titled ‘Workshop with Jannat Jui’ was organized with the keynote speaker, renowned engineer and planner, Managing Director of ‘Building Technology and Ideas Limited’ (BTI), Faizur Rahman Khan (F.R.Khan). The topic of discussion at the workshop was 'Systems in Design'. The workshop was held at ‘Sattya’ Architectural Firm.

F. R. Khan mainly discussed the rules and regulations of the real estate business, building design and professional customer service methods. Along with the discussion, he showed documentaries of some buildings in Singapore. He also talked about the importance of designing high-rise buildings with as much green space as possible and the effectiveness of modular design. In the three-hour workshop, participants gained an understanding of the principles required for sustainable buildings and sustainable communities.

A documentary about the collapse of a shopping mall (Sampoong Department Store) in Korea due to some wrong steps in structural design and carelessness in constructions was shown in the workshop. The possible causes of the building collapse were discussed in detail. He also highlighted the possible causes of the building collapse by showing some documentaries on the recent devastating earthquake in Bangkok.

At the end of the workshop, F.R. Khan highlighted the need to create a sustainable community. Through his speech, he encouraged people from all professions to work towards ensuring that the next generation can grow up in a healthy and natural environment.
