The first building constructed in Zinda Park is the school building. It was originally a tin-shed building. As it is a primary school, up to class eight is taught in the school building. There are 50 students in each class. The secondary school building and the college building are currently under construction. Each building in Zinda Park is designed with our traditional building materials, but in a slightly different way. In some places there are 15” walls, which are not plastered. Architect Sayedul Hasan Rana said, “the only solution for the weather and climate of our country is thick walls.” The use of concrete blocks started from the school building itself. A 'physical model' of each building in Zinda Park has been created prior to construction so that the locals can provide feedback. |

Every building in Zinda Park is surrounded by the shade of nature, making it completely different from the urban setting. The school building is no exception. Specifically, the classrooms of this school are planned to minimize disruptions to the students' learning environment. There are 4 classrooms and office rooms on the ground floor and 6 classrooms on the first floor. No harsh or unnecessary noise enters the classroom. The exterior walls and windows of the classroom shown in the figure are designed in such a way that raindrops cannot enter the classroom due to driving rain. |

Some walls are not plastered, only polished with cement. On the first floor there is a small courtyard next to the classrooms, where students can gather and share their ideas (shown in the picture). In the middle of the first floor there is a gallery space, which is used as a 'meeting space' or 'performance space'. The gallery is divided into two parts – semi outdoor space and outdoor space. The outdoor space has some seating, mainly for parents to sit and wait for their children. The semi-outdoor space is mainly used as a 'performance space'. The gallery has two drainage systems at its two corners, so that water does not accumulate during rain. The window at the end of the corridor of the school building looks like a picture frame hanging on the wall. |

There is a large playground in front of the primary school building. The planned landscape in front of the school building is under the supervision of the park owner. There is a stage on the ground floor of the school building, opposite the field. It hosts school assemblies and various cultural events. During the construction of the school building, the staircase area was given priority. The height of the stair railings and roof railings of school buildings are different. The roof railing is mainly designed according to the height of children, so that they can enjoy the broad view of the green field. In the context of Bangladesh, this school building in Zinda Park can be an exemplary school building. This building is not only limited to the quality and quality of education, it can be called an ideal school building for students to have mutual exchange of ideas, to grow up in a disciplined environment and to have a smooth learning environment. |

A row of Jhau trees in front of the library building at Zinda Park offers a wonderful vista of the entrance to the building. The library building is not like a traditional library in Bangladesh. It serves as a community library for Zinda Park. |

The entrance to the library is a few steps down from the road level. It has been designed by the architect, so that the natural environment outside seems very close from the upper floors. As a result, a pleasant reading environment close to nature has been created inside the library building. The circular library building at Zinda Park can be used for various purposes. First, the building can be used as a library as well as a watch tower. It has a circular terrace on the topmost floor (Fourth Floor). A 360° view of Zinda Park can be enjoyed from the terrace. Users can sit on this terrace and enjoy reading a book in close proximity to nature. |

The staircase inside the library also serves as a gallery. Users can sit in this gallery space to read books, have group meetings or chat. The galleries on each floor are moved to receive light from the light source above. Each floor's windows offer a different perspective of the outside environment. On the top floor, there is a circular table where meetings can be held. Also, the whole library building has small intimate sitting spaces, where one can sit and spend time reading books in comfort. |

From the large windows inside the library building, the green nature outside looks like an artist's colorful canvas. The subtle and tasteful design in every part of the building makes people spend more time in the library. Such libraries are rare and a shining example in the context of our country.
