Saiful Haque Omi claims that the majority of the institutions being build are doing so heavily, resulting in a situation that is undesirable for the admittance of well-wishers or students. This prevents the students or well-wishers from considering the institutions to be their own. According to him, imaginative thinking is necessary to build a space that welcomes individuals from various walks of life or encourages them to claim it as their own. He added that all forms of cinema, including film, are built on the same principles. To grow, they need the involuntary involvement of people from various social classes. Counter Foto aims at setting a benchmark in educating to become a good photographer. Counter Foto strongly believes that it will become one of the major platform of all the photo-enthusiasts who are not only trying photography for pleasure but also use it as a weapon to change society for good. Right from its inception Counter Foto stood against various kinds of human rights violations, and state-sponsored violence and constantly stood by the oppressed through its courageous projects. From the very beginning Counter Foto had have to go through resistance against its political opposition and that enabled Counter Foto to grow with its own strength. |
Nowadays, various photography clubs are formed in schools, colleges and universities. Which is currently going on in an informal manner and as a result the practice of photography is being misrepresented to everyone. And it is in this context that Counter Photo is creating an institute that wants to harness the enthusiasm of young people to make photography more vibrant. Counter Foto Located in Sheorapara of Mirpur. Which is currently operating in a space of 4320 sqft. Another of their goals is to spread photography in residential areas like Mirpur Sheorapara, which is spreading photography education to all strata of society rather than keeping it in the center of cultural place. |

Let's begin by concentrating on three photography-related topics. First and foremost, light is a crucial component of photography. With that in mind, I've always kept in mind that there needs to be a balanced distribution of light throughout the institution. Students can practice photography any way they'd like if there is enough light. They can also admire how the light changes every instant. |

Image: Ground floor plan | Given that the frontage of the entire space was essentially linear, I divided three portions of equal 16' into a total of 48'. We were able to create some parallel grids as a result, making our work subsequently easier. In addition, these grids provide us with one module unit. Make three rows out of the entire area. There are three separate components: service, service, and circulation, which endorse and follow the original segmentation of the 48' part. |

The plan was to slightly elevate the entire area off the ground so that locals could enter the institute unobstructed and naturally take in the exhibits. So that the students can become accustomed to the activities of the residents and impart their newly gained knowledge to them, the building itself has been moved to the upper portion of the walkway. The western face of the structure, which resembles a frame, has pixelated, Lego-like details on the building's front. Additionally, it is aiding in reducing the heat on the western side. |
